![]() I have encountered issues in the past where a stripped down corporate OS is missing some software components or drivers that prevent Captivate from working seamlessly. If Captivate still will NOT import even a stripped down 24 slide PPT, then the issue is definitely with your PC. If that IS successful, then it would confirm the possibility that the real underlying issue is something about that PPT. If I were having your issue, I would be creating a brand new PPT deck, adding 24 slides with more or less nothing on them, and trying to import that. Rick will inform you more completely, but Im a little bit puzzled by your mentioning hiding the slides. If the issue is due to something in that particular PPT, then you won't get a different result. Indeed, the problem seems not to be with audio. I would suggest you try loading a different PPT deck, not keep using the one you have been trying so far. I can assure you that Captivate would NORMALLY be able to import a PPT slide deck much bigger than the one you are talking about. Sorry to hear that you are still having issues with loading PPT decks. You need to use the option on the toolbar to insert them. If you happen to have been a previous Storyline user, you may be thinking that Captivate's Branching View is the same as Storyline's Story View. That particular option kills Captivate performance like no other. I cannot see any screenshots in your post. If you are experiencing slow performance from Adobe Captivate, one thing I would suggest is that you NOT have Branching View turned on.
